Kickoff Rally
The Activate Pickens County kickoff rally was held at Rock Springs Baptist Church from 12:30pm and 7:00 pm on Monday, January 14, 2008 .
Everyone is still eligible to participate in this program. It is easy to register. Just go the home page and click on "Register Now" and you will be on your way to a healthier you! When you register you are able to access the Healthy Living Guide and the My Page functions.
The kickoff included:
- FREE T-shirts to the first 500 registrants at Rock Springs Baptist Church
- Registration for Activate Pickens County
- First Official Weigh-In
- Activity Demonstrations (walking, low impact aerobics, weight lifting, biking, Yoga, Pilates, and more!)
- Free Health Screenings
- "Health Talks"
- Free Dasani water
- Chick-fil-A coupons for a free Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich
- Miss Easley, Ambra Yarbrough
- The Blood Connection took blood donations from 12:30pm-7:00pm and gave free Tshirts
- Sponsor Booths and more!
